Here’s the Stampede Team Kokanee results. It was a great turnout and Kokanee were plentiful, to put it mildly. The key was to target the larger ones which could be anywhere from 35 to 110 feet. Some fish were pairing up on the bottom and hanging around structure and others were schooling up and in open water too. Well… Kokanee were everywhere. Once again the Fish & Wildlife people were there to measure and record fish along with the US Fisheries team taking pathological samples. Thanks to all that came out to enjoy the fishery and competition among fellow Kokanee addicts. One more derby for the year, Septembe 7th at Shaver Lake.
