Shaver Lake Derby

I went to Shaver Lake tuesday 8-16 and here is what I found out.. at Camp Edison Marina all boats must be out of the water by 9-6. will know later if any slips will be available.there will not be any launching there due to no dock and it will be in the mud.. if you choose to launch there it will be at your own risk// All launching should be done at Sierra Marina. all boats there must be out by 9-11.You might be able to rent slips there.. 559-841-3324 or www.sierramarina.com water will be down at least 35 ft at this time.
Good News.. stopped at Youngs Sporting Goods in Shaver and he has posted pix of 17 3/8 to-17 7/8 in kokanee. Fishermen have reported limits in the 14in range this past weekend. will be going up one day this week to fish and will let all know how I did.. I will also keep in touch regarding water levels as they start to drop..thanks Jake
