Lines wet at 5:30am. First fish at 5:40. The bite was on until 9:00. We averaged a hookup every 15 minutes. All rainbows, mostly 1 to 1.5 lbs, with a nice 2.5lb rainbow. All were caught on purple/white and pink/white squiggles,( similar to a wiggle hoochie) with one on a Shasta Tackle Flee Bitty. They ranged from the surface down to 40'. Fished the Pit River Bridge area til 10:00 then fished the Greens Creek area til 2:00. The bite had slowed but did manage 6 more. All in all, 20 hookups, a few LDR's, most released and our friends kept a few for dinner. Water temp is starting to warm up, but the fishing is still really good!
