Started with lines in the water at 6:20 west of skiers cove, trolled across the face to the narrows, made a big circle back across the mouth of skiers. Made the right towards the Big Island. We worked all of our favorites from 20 to 60ft.,ziged and zaged,30ft. set backs to 150ft. setbacks,1.3 to 1.8 mph and produced 1 drive by.
Finally halfway to the big island we ran into a school of little rainbows, released one of them and he bellied back up,made a turn to go back and put him in the icechest and an Osprey came out nowhere and scooped him up.That sight made up for the slow start all by its self. From the Ranch House up to the Big Island kept us busy until the skiers got real busy about 2pm. Mostly from 45ft. to 55ft. OTW with copper and orange dodgers, orange spinners and hoochies, yellow corn and herring oil.Nothing over 12 inches but ended up with 7 bleeders.3 Kokanee,3 Rainbows and 1 king.Lots of drivebys,a lot of fish lost on the way in. All in all a great day.
