THANK YOU to all who participated in the Don Pedro Phil Johnson Memorial Derby.
Derby's mean so much to me. This one especially. Thank you Randy for all the work involved in
getting this together.
Thank you Mike Jerome for another wonderful lunch. You rock.
Thank you to my brother and sister in law Gary and Jan Starbuck for helping me and
selling Raffle tickets, t-shirts and hats.
Thanks Ken Capitanich for your help Sat. morning setting up.
Thank you John Minnis for all the nice things you said about Phil. Even though it rattled me
I loved it.
And to Gary Coe. Thank you for your kind words about Phil. It stirs up wonderful memories.
Thanks Captn. Al Millan for the wonderful day of fishing on Friday. Wow.
Thanks Al, Kevin Smith, John Lico and Randy for weighing in all those fish and doing the stats.
Thanks to my best bud Nancy Coe. You are super woman.

Believe me when I say that the honor was all mine taking you fishing for kokanee. It was more than 10 years ago when I had my first 2 hour phone call with Phil talking about all aspects of kokanee. Who would have known that 10 years later, I would be taking Kathy Johnson fishing on Don Pedro. It was a fun Friday and an enjoyable derby.

Had a great time at the Derby. Would like to thank those involved in running it. Thanks Randy B. for keeping it all together and on time. Thanks big John for a great raffle. Thanks Kathy Johnson for have everything set up when we come back in from fishing. I know I'd missed a bunch of you behind the scenes who worked this Derby, Thank You, you know who you are.
