If you are like me, the first time or two that you look at a website, you look it over to see what it has to offer. After that, you go to it for a specific purpose, do what you need to do and move on. I think that’s what a lot of us do with this site. You log on, check out the forum to see if anything new and relevant has been posted and then go on about your business.

If you haven’t browsed around this site lately, you’re missing out. There is a tremendous amount of new and interesting information available to you with a simple mouse click.

Take a minute and look at the recent additions to our homepage. Just scroll down and click on anything that interests you in our “What’s Happening”. The “Photo Galleries” has dozens of new pictures depicting our recent projects. Want to see where your money went this year? Check out the “Projects” link and read what your new Treasurer, Jack Schultz has to say. Within this link there is a breakdown of our 2006 expenditures and highlights of specific areas of our support. And there is much much more throughout the site.

Did this take a lot of work? You bet it did! Vice President Al Millan took on the website responsibilities in early 2006. There has been steady and significant improvement from day he started.

More recently, Kevin Smith has undertaken many of the site responsibilities and improvements. What Kevin has done is just plain phenomenal… and it just keeps getting better.

So to all of you, when you have a minute, check it out and let them know what you think. And to Al and Kevin, Thank You.

Yes thank you Al and Kevin. Can you add a button on the forum pages so you can get back to the home page?

Thanks Gary, Michael, Howard. I'm happy to help KP out and use some of my "non-fishing" skills to something I can relate to and that is Kokanee Fishing! It's been wonderful to get all the info and photos from other members so we can share it with everyone here. As Gary mentioned the Projects section is fairly new and helps outline KP project activity which is more significant than most people realize, including myself.

If anyone has suggestions / questions / corrections just let Al or I know so we can help make the site better.

Howard - I have the same feeling on the message board needing a link to the home page as it has been a pet peeve of mine too. On my things to do list is that along with making the Forums have a nice Fishing skin or something to make it look more in tune with the web site. I hope to get to that in the next month or so.
