Sac River 10-5-07

Fred Thomason, Monte Smith and I had the pleasure of fishing with Danny Layne today on the Sac and American Rivers. Fishing(catching)was very slow. We fished approximately 6 hrs. with Monte being the only one to hook up a chrome 15lb'r. He caught the fish on a green spinner at Noah's Ark. The regulars we spoke with that fish the area agreed that the fishing was slow with only 1-2 fish caught all week by each one. The weather was good and the company was even better. I look forward to my next trip on the water.
