Camanche 2/23 / My personal Best

Got a call last night from Mike Tripp. Said he wanted to go to Camanche so he picks me up at 5:30. After getting through inspection we head towards BIG Hat Island. With four lines in start to head towards the Dam. We picked up a couple of little scrappy rainbows. Then the wind picks up with white caps to follow. So Mike said, Let's head up river to get out of the wind. Just as we get to the narrows we start putting out lines. Before we even get the second rod out, the first ones going off. Another little one. After catching five little ones. We start heading up river along the rock wall. Then my pole just bent in double. I told Mike, This is the one we're looking for. After a nice little battle, Mike slides the net under this Hog. After putting it on the digital scale, it weighs 13. 56. My personal Best. Rapalas did the trick!! Want to thank Mike for having me out with him. Lots of high fives and some good times together. Thanks Mike we'll do it again.
