Al,
Is there any more discussion about eating in town?? Do we know how many people are going?
There's an Outback steakhouse in Reading, nothing like good old bloody beef.

Outback steakhouse (530) 226-9394
910 Dana Drive, Redding CA 96003

Also found an RV park right across the river, don't know if they're booked up. Al, are you and Gary staying in the same motel. Can you e-mail me the name of the hotel.

Thanks'
Dave

D,

I just shot you an email. I know we have at least 7 or 8 for dinner. With you and Mark, that makes 10 now. Outback sounds good and they also have a Cattlemans which has way more room for a big party of hungry koke addicts.

 Boy what a hot day at Whiskeytown (hot and fishing). Hot but nice big and fat Koks. Limit by 9:00 and the biggest was right at 18" and a little under 2 lbs., 112 degrees but who's counting! Gary did you fine that sandwich place on the lake? I have never been able to find it!

First Timer

I was a first time kokanee fisherman at Whiskeytown July 22 & 23. Thanks to KP Prez Gary Coe I was treated to one of the greatest fishing trips I have been on. Great fun, met some great KP members, and with ALOT of help from Gary was able to catch some fish. I must say, Kokanee is some of the finest eating fish I have eaten both grilled and smoked. Mike & Kendra your smoked fish was delicious. Al, it was nice visiting with you too. Met alot of other folks affiliated some way or another with the Kokanee fishing scene and all were wonderful people. I can see your organization has alot of good people and have some fun functions. Look forward to seeing some of you again and meeting more of you somewhere down the road. Needless to say, I am in the process of getting my boat rigged so I can continue fishing kokanee without having to hitch a ride. Thanks to all for a great weekend.
