Last summer, I talked with the owner of a bait shop at Shaver and asked what the plan was for the fish in Shaver when they were going to drain it. He said he thought there wasn't a plan to try to save them.
Does anyone know what happened? It seemed like a waste to let the fish all die. Thanks!

Hi Monte - I don't know if they had any rescue plan for Shaver at the time. Jake might know better. One thing for sure is they are going to re-stock it heavily with trout and the new Kokanee will be put in which could mean in 3 years there are some very large ones since no competition from other year classes.
