Collins Lake Trout Pen Plant Photos

The Kokanee Power Trout pens, 29 of them across 6 lakes... yes that is not a typo, 29 pens across 6 lakes, have been undergoing their annual fall planting and Collins Lake was recently planted. There was some local help with a bunch of school kids that provided the helping hands and muscle. Here's some pics from the plant and a few more in the photo gallery...

This guy seems to show up everywhere... Gary Coe does not miss a pen plant and is the master coordinator for the pen activities making sure food gets ordered and delivered to the lakes. This is no small task when there are 29 pens and 35,000 lbs of food. This is your membership and derby participation dollars at work contributing back tot he fishery.
